Kuwait Steel was one of the sponsors for the Kuwait Industries Union (KIU) Jusoor Marathon race held at the Seashell Julaia Hotel & Resort on the 3rd December 2021. The Jusoor Marathon was part of KIU’s effort in promoting industrial culture and modern motivational activities that attract the attention of a large number of participants, especially among the youth community. With the health benefits of sport and physical activity recently becoming a widespread phenomenon among societies and its great role in empowering all members of society, KIU was keen to organize a marathon with a different concept by merging industry and sports in Kuwait.
Jusoor Marathon reflected the importance of sports in decreasing the pressure of work particularly for those working in the production lines, creating positivity and raising the efficiency of production and thus innovation.
To show our continued support Kuwait Steel had a stand at the event to facilitate interaction with visitors and participants of the event visiting the stand.
12 Kuwait Steel employees proudly participated in the Jusoor Marathon.
On August 31, 2021, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, KUWAIT STEEL conducted mass vaccination against COVID-19 for all its employees and their family members as part of its ongoing effort and campaign against the coronavirus and care for the health of its workforce.
