A key infrastructure initiative under Kuwait's national development plan, covering 45 km of road upgrades including 9 multi-level interchanges, 4 camel crossing bridges, drainage works, utility networks, road lighting, and landscaping. Designed to ease traffic congestion on Kuwait's southern border routes and support residential expansion in the country's southern cities.
Totaling of 220,000 m2, the new hospital building will provide 632 beds over 14 floors. An additional 280,000 m2 of support facilities include: General Surgical unit, Same Day Surgery, Nutrition and Dietetics, Adult and Pediatrics Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation unit, Hospital Administration and Multistory Car parks.
